Again while I thought about using pocket screws and/or a robust system of framing to build the box, I decided for this project, and as I was already planning on joining (and later covering with trim) seams between panels – I would again use a glue and clamp method, but this time with the added re-enforcement of #7 stainless trim screws.
Make two identical squares out of 2x4's. Secure the squares with 3 inch wood screws. To connect the square, measure the height you wish for the box to be. Now subtract 8 inches. Cut 4 identical 2 x 4 pieces. Place each board on a corner between the two squares and attach with 3 inch wood screws. Now you have a box.

Building a 4×8 saltbox shed roof. The first step of the project is to build the rafters for the firewood shed. Mark the cut lines on the 2×4 slats and then get the job done with a saw. Smooth the edges with sandpaper. Fit the rafters to the top of the shed frame, making sure you place them every 16″ on center.
To cut the correct angle on the top I squared up the base and used a piece of scrap wood marked to the width of the door. I marked and cut the angles and then assembled the ends. I used the measurements with the end frames in place to make the front and back.
